One of the City's smaller neighbourhoods, Bellevue was developed prior to 1950. Eastglen Composite High School, which serves students in much of east central Edmonton, is a dominant feature of the area (though a high proportion of area residents are over the age of 60 or retirees).
Explore how Bellevue fits on the map: the gold fill is the boundary in effect for the selected time period, dashed outlines show every earlier superseded shape from prior eras, red pins are linked structures built in that era, and purple pins are sites. Use the time period buttons below the map to explore the neighbourhood over time. Boundary history is documented in Stories.
Bellevue is highlighted by stunning views of the river valley and the city skyline. Civic ward: Métis. District: North Central. City boundary records effective 1981-10-01.
