This area was named for Herbert Greenfield, leader of the United Farmers Party and Premier of Alberta from 1921 to 1925. Greenfield boomed just after World War II, and features larger Single-family homes on attractive crescents and cul-de-sacs, as well as centrally located schools and recreational facilities.
