Named for an early pioneer farmer who operated a grocery store here in the 1880s and 90s, Kernohan was not annexed until 1961. Part of Clareview, it saw the bulk of its development take place during the 1960s oil-driven economic boom.
Explore how Kernohan fits on the map: the gold fill is the boundary in effect for the selected time period, dashed outlines show every earlier superseded shape from prior eras, red pins are linked structures built in that era, and purple pins are sites.
